Therapy sometimes makes you feel worse...

....but that's part of the process.


Coming to therapy is not an easy thing. The idea of sharing your experiences or your inner thoughts can be new and frightening. When you stir up the silt from the bottom of your pond, you will feel worse, and it will feel like it's not working. This is the point at which many people choose not to return to their sessions. Therapy is a process and it can be hard because being vulnerable takes an enormous amount of effort, but it's worth it. Keep coming, keep being vulnerable and open to the process and you will find that your waters do clear.
